Dear Friends in Christ,

Greetings in Jesus’ name. I trust the Lord is blessing you. I finally got the final numbers from Smite. There were 38 clubs, 859 in attendance with 184 professing Jesus as Savior.  Praise the Lord!! These were kids who have little hope in this world.
I had another long trip.

But this one was l-o-n-g. I drove from here to south Texas, 1,044 miles straight through. Then I drove to El Paso, 657 miles. Then I drove to Cortez, CO, 550 or so miles. It’s a good thing I am young!

Dear Friends in Christ,

Greetings in Jesus' name, I trust the Lord is blessing your labors for Him.

Since Lynda has gone to be with the Lord, I've tried to keep busy, but it doesn't always work. She always followed me and even though we had some tough times, lived in less than ideal conditions, she never complained. She had a good record during our fifty years in missions.

Dear Friends in Christ,

Please forgive the delay in getting this letter out.  For the last several months I have been doing everything here at home as Lynda was unable to do anything.  All that ended as Lynda went to be with the Lord on April 23rd and the funeral was April 26th.

We had celebrated our 58th anniversary on April the 3rd.  She was able to go to her favorite place, Cracker Barrel, on that day.  She almost made it to our 50th anniversary in missions.  We surrendered to missions in May of 1967.  I guess I’ll get a malt at Dairy Queen and celebrate.
